Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme UPDATED
If you and your employer both agree, your employer might be able to keep you on the payroll if they’re unable to operate or have no work for you to do because of coronavirus (COVID-19). This is known as being ‘on furlough’.

What can you claim if you're self-employed?
- The Self-employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS) will support self-employed individuals (including members of partnerships) who have lost income due to coronavirus (COVID-19)
- There is also Universal Credit.
- Additionally, because of coronavirus (COVID-19), you can delay making your second tax payment on your account. If you choose to delay, you’ll have until 31 January 2021 to pay it.
Deferring VAT Payments
If you’re a UK VAT registered business and have a VAT payment due between 20th March 2020 and 30th June 2020, you have the option to defer the payment until a later date or pay the VAT due as normal.
Business Interruption Loan Scheme
The temporary Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme supports SMEs with access to loans, overdrafts, invoice finance and asset finance of up to £5 million and for up to 6 years.

Business Rates Holiday for Retail, Hospitality and Leisure
